Practise a language with OME

Pick the right country

Choose the country where your target language is spoken before you start. OME will try to connect you with people there first, so you get real conversations with native speakers.

Keep it short and friendly

Start with a greeting in the local language, say you're practising, and keep the first exchanges light. Most people are happy to help.

Use the chat for spelling

When you don't catch a word, ask the other person to type it in the text chat. It's a great way to learn new vocabulary on the spot.
