OME: a simple Omegle alternative

Omegle closed in 2023, and a lot of people are still looking for an easy way to talk to someone new on camera. OME (free-ome.com) is a free random video chat built for exactly that — with a cleaner, mobile-first experience.

No sign-up, no install

Open OME in your browser, allow the camera and you are connected to a random person within seconds. There is no account to create and nothing to download, on your phone or your computer.

How matching works

Before you start, you pick a country and whether you want to meet a woman, a man or a couple. OME tries to match you with someone from the country you chose; if nobody from there is waiting, it widens to the nearest countries, so you are never stuck waiting.

Built for phones

The screen splits in two — the other person on top, you below. Swipe left for the next person, swipe right to change your settings, tap an emoji to react, or open the text chat.

Safer by design

OME is 18+ only, every call has a Report button, and people who break the rules are blocked. Give it a try on the home page.
